Mia is a "cousin-in-law" if you will of Elliott's. The two met at the baby shower for their mutual baby cousin, Sofia. Elliott was being attacked by Freddy Krueger while he slept which explains the cuts on his face and his inability to sleep when we were in WI for this visit.
