We took this picture because the kids started daycare today and they needed a family photo to post in their daycare rooms. All-in-all, today went about a million times better than any of my anxiety dreams about this day. Maddie was apparently a "social butterfly" that happily greeted everyone that walked into the room and learned all her friends names. Elliott's day was a bit more up and down. He got a sliver on the playground and then got accidently hit in the face with a dinosaur. When I went to pick them up, both of them greeted me with a hug and then went back to playing to the point where I had to practically drag them out of the daycare, but I think that is a good thing. We'll see what tomorrow brings..

A couple of weeks ago we went to visit our buddies in New Haven, CT. While I was taking this photo, Elliott was asking Salome if she would be his friend. Her reply was, "Yes, but not yet." She already knows how to handle the boys. Well done, Jeanette and Ken.

that we moved to a suburb of Rochester, NY, to a house with a pond where we can catch little guys like this all the freakin' time?
